Starting an internet business is great example of how to make easy money online. Some of these example take time, some are relatively quick. All of them are cheap to start. All of them offer flexible work schedules and the ability to work from home.
1. Online used book retailer business and sell books online. This job requires you buy (or get for free) used books from thrift stores, second hand book stores, and garage sales and sell them on Amazon. The best books to sell are text books, collectables, or any book that was originally expensive. Books about self improvement or popular making money books are also good sellers. If you have internet capabilities on your phone you can even do research on Amazon to find out how much the book will probably sell for before you buy. This can either be a quality (niche business) or a quantity (bulk) business. Try to focus on one or the other.
2. Become an eBay powerseller. Buying bulk items at auctions is a great way to get a great discount. One idea is to take a tour of abandoned storage units, bid on them and sell the contents of the storage units and sell them on ebay. Another idea is to buy inventory from stores going out of business or businesses in foreclosure. The areas with the best margins are areas where you can maintain a competitive advantage. A friend of mine makes 6 figures selling off excess components from a computer manufacturer. He has the exclusive right to sell these products.
3. Affiliate marketing business. Amazon pays 6 to 7 percent affiliate commission when you sell their products. (more than 20 per month) The key to selling these products is to get free targeted traffic to your site to buy the product. EBay pays a little higher commission but only pays you for the products advertised. Amazon pays you for what ever the traffic buys within 24 hours. Another affiliate program is clickbank. Their commissions are as high as 45%, they sell ebooks.
4. Google adsense online business. Also the key to this business is free online traffic. The more traffic, generally the more likely you are to get more clicks. There are two important things to keep in mind. First, does the information you write about have a high CPC rate and second, how likely will visitors to your site be to click on an add.
5. Become an internet writer. The key to internet advertising is to have strong writing abilities to be able to sound authoritative and sell information. Also there is a lot of opportunity to write articles to help large and start up companies develop an online presence.
6. Be a transcriptionist or offer online translation services. If you like to type or are god at another language, you can offer online translation services or online typing services. A friend of mine writes transcriptions of medical interviews for about $20 an hour and I have an uncle that makes great living translating company documents from English to Spanish.
